How to install ‘Gurbani Lipi’ on your computer after the download:
- Download the font onto your computer and Save it to Desktop
- Go to Control Panel, ensure that you’re switched to ‘Classic View’.
[In Windows XP, ‘Category View’ is the default view for Control Panel. You can switch to ‘Classic View’ by clicking the link ‘Switch To Classic View’ from the sidebar of the Control Panel folder.] - Once you’ve switched to the ‘Classic View’, go to the ‘Fonts’ folder and open it.
- Go to ‘File’ and select and click ‘Install New Fonts’. A dialogue box ‘Add Fonts’ will open.
- In the ‘Drives’ drop down sub-window select drive ‘C:’
- Now in the ‘Folders’ sub-window of the dialogue box, double click the root-directory ‘c:\’
- Now double click the sub-folder ‘Documents and Settings’. Now you’ll be able to see all the computer users’ Usernames.
- Select and double-click your own Username
- Now select the ‘Desktop’ folder. Soon the font ‘Gurubani Lipi’ will be retrieved and will show in the window ‘List of Fonts’.
- Press the ‘Select All’ tab of the dialogue box and press ‘OK’
- This will install the font on your computer.
